Quentin Christensen is a software engineer, designer, and advocate for user-centered design. In 1995 he became passionate about technology after discovering the Internet. Ever since he has been creating websites and developing software products. From 2005-2008 he worked as an Information Systems Manager for a small business and currently works at Microsoft as a Program Manager for Office Business Applications. Outside of Microsoft he also consults for small businesses on website design and IT.
Quentin has a a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington Information School and remains commited to education by attending campus recruiting events, presenting on technology careers, and volunteering time to help organize UW events.
In addition to work Quentin speaks at several conferences and conventions each year on interpersonal communications, usability, user experience, and database design. In 2008 he presented The Con Flirting Guide at Sakuracon and at Info Camp he presented User Experience 101 and Designing a Database About Everything.
